The Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council, a subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry has organized an open day for Abu Dhabi Resident’s Office (ADRO) to introduce ADRO’s operations and services, specifically the Golden Visa program in Abu Dhabi.
The event witnessed the attendance of a large number of members of the Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council and women entrepreneurs based in Abu Dhabi.
The meeting shed light on how to apply for the Golden Visa in Abu Dhabi in addition to a presentation on INTAMI Loyalty Application.
Executive Board Members of the Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council Sheikha Naser Al Nuwais and Marwa Al Mansouri attended the Open Day along with His Excellency Hareb Al Mheiri, Executive Director of ADRO.
In her speech, Sheikha Al Nuwais said that this event comes to support the vision of the Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council to lead the development of women’s role in business and enable them to be a key partner in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi’s comprehensive development.
“The Council plays a key role in empowering female entrepreneurs to contribute to the UAE’s sustainable economic growth. We strive to increase the opportunities for businesswomen to grow in the labour market and enhance productivity and quality,” she added.
The Executive Board Member noted that to achieve this, the Council constantly works on organising workshops, events, and training and development sessions to raise the awareness of female entrepreneurs of key entities, services, and opportunities that support them in achieving their business objectives.
“Accordingly, this open day event aligns with our activities and initiatives that contribute to enhancing the role of businesswomen in Abu Dhabi’s private sector.
“There is a wide range of reasons that make the Emirate of Abu Dhabi a leading destination to settle, set up your business, build a bright future, and take part in driving the Emirate’s economic growth.
“Abu Dhabi is one of the top places for doing business. The Emirate, which serves as the link between the Eastern and the Western markets, provides advanced infrastructure and regulatory, legislative and logistics capabilities that support the export of products to new markets. The Emirate was also ranked the first regionally and the 12th globally in the ease of doing business, according to a recent report,” she concluded.

The Office provided the members of the Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council with information about its initiatives, which include the loyalty program INTAMI, long-term residency, guides for residents, and other programs and events.

His Excellency Al Mheiri briefed the attendees on the efforts of ADRO for supporting a thriving community, and its continuous endeavors to attract and retain the best talents in Abu Dhabi and enhance their sense of belonging, to contribute to accelerating the comprehensive economic development in the Emirate.
His Excellency also shed light on the most prominent initiatives launched by ADRO in less than a year following its establishment, such as The Residents Majlis, which promotes effective communication with residents, hosts regular meetings to discuss relevant issues that concern residents, and passes on the opinions and ideas of residents to the concerned authorities.
