The Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry has held an online consultation session with businesswomen and women entrepreneurs operating in the UAE titled ‘Improving Marketing and Increasing Sales During the Pandemic’.
The session was held in cooperation with the National SME Programme of the Ministry of Economy and Dubai Entrepreneurship Academy – the educational arm of the Mohammed bin Rashid Establishment for SME Development.
Fifty businesswomen and women entrepreneurs took part in the session which comes within the five-year strategic plan of the Council in raising the awareness of women about entrepreneurship and to increase her role in the economic development as well as increasing her entrepreneurship chances through training, habilitation, consultation and business incubation as per the latest and best practices.
The Businesswomen Council has held a number of consultation sessions, training courses, workshops, seminars and lectures in a way that goes in line with the precautionary measures taken by the government in general and Abu Dhabi Chamber and the Businesswomen Council in particular considering the spread of the coronavirus Covid-19.
The online consultation session included a number of subjects and questions such as how to maintain your position in the market? How to keep services up to expectations and the flow revenues? How to deal with your old customers? Should you increase or decrease their numbers during crises?
Other subjects included when to increase and decrease sales, advertisements during crises, how to manage projects during crises, and if laying off workers and decreasing wages are the best answers.
