Abu Dhabi Chamber discuss increasing economic cooperation with Costa Rica
His Excellency Mohamed Helal Al Mheiri, Director General
of the Abu Dhabi Chamber, attended the meeting as well.
H.E. Al Rumaithi, emphasized that the Abu Dhabi Chamber
understands the importance of bolstering the private sector’s joint
partnerships considering the distinguished economic relations between the two
sides. He added that there are promising opportunities to extend cooperation
bridges on all levels and in all sectors and to expand partnerships in the
sectors of renewable energy, agriculture, industry, tourism, healthcare, education
and food security.
For his part, H.E.
Hernandez extended an invitation to the Abu Dhabi Chamber to attend the huge
trade exhibition on foodstuff, agriculture and food security that will be
organized next September in Costa Rica.
He also extended the invitation to Emirati companies and
investors to explore the available investment opportunities in Costa Rica,
pointing to the legislations the government of Costa Rica put in place to
ensure serving investors in the best way possible, especially Emirati ones.
H.E. Al Mheiri highlighted the role of the Chamber in
supporting the private sector and the services it provides for its members. He
emphasized on the readiness of the Abu Dhabi Chamber to provide all kinds of
support to Costa Rican companies desirous of investing in Abu Dhabi.
The Director General pointed to the desire of both sides
to organize a trade forum in Abu Dhabi to promote for the available investment
opportunities for Emirati and Costa Rican companies.
