Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council and Women Empowerment Committee of the French Business Council organize a session on the Concepts of Economic Finance

In cooperation with Women Empowerment Committee of the French
Business Council, Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council held a discussion session on facilitating
financial matters. The session was held at the Abu Dhabi Chamber HQ with the
presence of Mrs. Estel Banyan Boy, French Ambassador’s wife to the UAE, Dr.
Fatima al Shamisi, Deputy Executive Director of Sorbonne University
Administrative Affairs – Abu Dhabi along with a large number of Emirati and
French businesswomen and entrepreneurs.

The general concepts of economic finance and how
it can support the programmes and projects of businesswomen in order to foster
the women’s role and empower her to think about creating commercial and
investment projects along with Islamic finance were discussed in the session.


Women Empowerment Committee of the French Business Group aims
to provide a platform for Emirati and French women who contact, teach and
inspire each other and who enhance the prominent role of women as business
leaders and successful entrepreneurs as well as important partners who support
comprehensive economic development. The committee also aims to develop the
leading potentials for both Emirati and French women and to back
entrepreneurship for innovative women through communication, providing training
opportunities and sharing experiences.


 

The
attendees affirmed that woman constitutes one of the most important pillars of
development plans in all developed communities expressing their benefit from
the private session of planning and the concepts that should be followed in
financing and banking processes. The members of the French Business Committee expressed
their admiration of the advanced level that the Emirati women have and the
working woman in the UAE, as well stressing that the Emirati woman is capable
of achieving more in business community.
