The Abu Chamber discusses with the Tajikistani Ambassador the opportunities of investment cooperation

HE Mohammed Helal Al Mheiri, Director General of the Abu Chamber of Commerce and Industry stressed that there are many opportunities and advantages in the business environments of both the UAE and the friendly Republic of Tajikistan that help promote investment and relations of economic cooperation to the highest levels.  

During his meeting with HE the Tajikistani Ambassador to the UAE, Bahadur Sharifi, Al Mheiri said that the UAE private sector’s organizations possess distinguished expertise in executing major projects in various sectors. This qualifies them to execute major and dynamic projects in Tajikistan pointing out that the leaderships of the two friendly countries are keen on providing and facilitating anything that helps joint cooperation to succeed and prosper particularly that supports the private sector and its businessmen in order to afford an appropriate environment and benefit from the available opportunities that enhance bilateral and fruitful cooperation. 


Al Mheiri also pointed out that many UAE companies are prompted by the desire to invest in Tajikistan but they need to learn more about the rules and regulations that govern foreign investments there. They also need to learn about investment resilience and the revenues desired to the Emirati businessmen.

On his part, HE Ambassador Sharifi invited the Emirati corporates and businessmen to enhance their investments in his country and seize the available opportunities particularly in the fields of agriculture and organic food stressing that investment in his country is successful and encouraging as the country has rich and fruitful soil and potable water necessary for organic agriculture and because the agricultural investment represents paramount importance that constitutes 40% of its GDP. 


He also called the Abu Dhabi Chamber to visit Tajikistan and participate in the 4th Cycle of Joint Committee between UAE and Tajikistan that will be convened next July in the Tajikistani capital where they can closely learn more about and explore the investment climate and advantages.
