ADCCI participates in SMEs EXPO





HE Mohamed Helal Al Mheiri, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry stressed the importance of the Chamber’s participation in the 1st SMEs EXPO 2019 as a strategic sponsor and supporter of the exhibition’s objectives. This event represents a splendid opportunity for entrepreneurs and business owners to receive the adequate support and guidance, establish new trading relations and benefit from the workshops and training programs. Besides, they will meet and learn more about solution providers who provide various quality products and services to help develop businesses, noting that this exhibition is considered an ideal interactive platform that contributes to stimulating entrepreneurs and SME owners and developing them which would in turn constitutes a new drive for the financial and  business sector in the UAE.  



HE Al Mheiri also stressed that the Chamber is deeply keen on enhancing the spirit of investment of the youth and encouraging them to enter into SME sector because they believe that this sector plays a prominent role in backing the national economy since such sector is one of the most important drivers for economic development and it is ranked globally as one of the most important mechanisms of supporting countries’ production structure. “One of the strategic priorities is economic diversification of knowledge-based economy and promoting investment,” said he. 


HE added that the Chamber is committed to be a strategic partner in the SMEs success and excellence as well. This is what the Chamber has embarked on preparing for through the set of initiatives it has launched within the framework of empowering the program of supporting and activating the dynamic and important field of entrepreneurship. A case in point is when the Chamber launched the SME Award to complete the set of its initiatives it had previously adopted such as the Future Pioneers Award and the periodic organization of Al Ain SME Exhibition and many others for the purpose of creating a diversified and sustainable economy in the UAE. 



 

HE added that the UAE has globally excelled in building the SME sector which is developing so fast according to the best international standards. In this regard, the UAE is promoting competitiveness in this sector through the presidential directives to support and empower this sector. He added that it is necessary to promote integral work and establish partnerships amongst various organizations and SMEs, finding services and banks to provide the incubator environment for entrepreneurship and promote the national efforts and economic vision of the UAE in order to build a competitive and knowledge-based and innovative economy able to benefit from the technological advancement and tech-revolution which should be employed for creating sustainable and robust economy pillars. 





On the other hand, the Abu Dhabi Chamber section in SMEs EXPO 2019 has attracted many people including VIPs, major companies and business representatives who expressed their admiration for the services provided by the Chamber besides the private services for investors, entrepreneurs and SME owners. The Chamber’s section also provides information and promotional brochures about the Abu Dhabi’s investment climate and opportunities as well as the projects that will be executed in the years to come. It also provides information about the registered companies across Abu Dhabi and the procedures of establishing new companies along with the conditions to be followed for the issuance of licenses.
