Abu Dhabi Chamber Discusses increasing cooperation with Australia Arab Chamber

The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry has received a trade delegation from Australia which consisted of 15 Australian companies operating in different activities and sectors. Both sides discussed increasing investments and trade between Abu Dhabi and Australia.

Mr. Helal Mohammed Al Hameli, Deputy Director General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber, attended the meeting along with Mr. Roland Jabbour, President and National Chairman of the Australia Arab Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The Industrial Development Bureau Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Global Market and more than 23 local companies attended the meeting as well.


In his welcoming speech, Mr. Helal Mohammed Al Hameli, Deputy Director General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber, said that the Abu Dhabi Chamber is hosting the event as part of its strategy considering it the representative of the private sector in Abu Dhabi and its interest in the underway projects and available investments in Australia.


The Abu Dhabi Chamber is also looking forward to opening the door wide open for the promotion sector and to shedding light on the most attractive and promising investments in both countries, which would add broad prospects for commercial cooperation

He added that the Abu Dhabi Chamber is completely ready to cooperate with the Australia Arab Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the purpose of activating mutual commercial and economic cooperation as well as increasing the flow of direct and common investments in all promising production and services sector.


For his part, Mr. Roland Jabbour, President and National Chairman of the Australia Arab Chamber of Commerce and Industry, expressed his pleasure for visiting the UAE, pointing out that the UAE is a role model in economic accomplishments and that it looks to establish the concepts of comprehensive development in a way that contributes to building the human being and the society.

He pointed out that the business environment in Abu Dhabi has become one of the most important destinations for businesses in Australia, which motivated them to bolster trade agreements and the joint economic partnerships which realize mutual interests and benefits for both sides.
