In celebration of the UAE Flag Day Abu Dhabi Chamber hoisted the UAE flag at main branch

Answering the call of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, to make the 1st of November a day to celebrate the UAE flag, His Excellency Ibrahim Al-Mahmoud, 1st Deputy Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Chamber, raised the flag at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday accompanied by His Excellency Mohamed Helal Al Mheiri, Director General of the Chamber, Deputy Directors General, Executive Directors, Department Directors and all the employees of the Chamber.


The celebration of the UAE Flag coincides with the anniversary of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan assuming the presidency of the UAE on the 3rd of November.


On this occasion, Al-Mahmoud said that this initiative reflects the love and loyalty of the UAE people to their flag considering it the symbol of their country’s sovereignty and unity, pointing to the importance of raising the flag along with all other establishments simultaneously across the country to emphasize on the unity on which the UAE is built.

 

In celebrating the UAE Flag Day, the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry hoisted the UAE flag at the flagpole beside the Chamber’s Tower in the cournich area in Abu Dhabi.
