The participation of the award in the festival science comes within the frame of activities the Abu Dhabi Chamber is organizing during the UAE Innovation Month. The award is an initiative by the Abu Dhabi Chamber that aims at coping with the general objectives of the “The National Innovation Strategy”, the “2020: Towards the next 50” initiative, and the “Abu Dhabi Plan for Sustainable Economic Development”.The platform of the award has attracted more than 1,000 visitors from parents and their children, who expressed their interest in the award and enquired about the registration process. The office of the award has received more than 200 participation requests so far.
The award program will commence with organizing training and introductory workshops to inform participants on how to register and present their business models. 114 schools and university from across Abu Dhabi have expressed their desire to participate; whereas 150 coordinators from those schools and universities started preparing to hold workshops on the importance of positive participation.The award will include five categories divided into 3 sections: Cycle 2 school students, Cycle 3 school students and University Students.

It is expected that more than 3,000 innovative projects will submit their papers for participation with 50% increase over the first edition of the award. All submissions will go under scrutiny and that 100 projects will be shortlisted to join the award exhibition that will be held on 21-22 April 2020. 15 projects from all categories will be nominated to win award.
