Seventy five small and medium enterprises operating in Abu Dhabi have announced their participation in the 1st edition of the Abu Dhabi Chamber SME Award.
In its endeavour to introduce the participants to the requirements and standards of the approved business model of the award, the Abu Dhabi Chamber has organized its first specialized training course at the beginning of the month to the first group of participants which included 20 SMEs operating in Abu Dhabi. More training courses will be held for the rest of participants on a later date.
The training course gave a detailed explanation about the contents of the award model and its standards in addition to practical training on the innovative business model and the value added model.
The course also included details on the mechanism of award submission as well as how to prepare submission paper.
The Chamber is committed to enriching the investment spirit within entrepreneurs and encouraging them to enter into small and medium enterprises considering the hurdles and fierce competitiveness such enterprises face during their growing phase.
Starting from the awareness of the Chamber on the continuity of such companies and in supporting their development and competitiveness, it prepared a complete program to enable them to properly prepare and plan their businesses by adopting a business model that is applied by well-known and successful companies.
The Abu Dhabi Chamber launched the program of the award through applied workshops to help participants plan and prepare their projects properly. The Chamber is looking forward to be a strategic partner to the success and excellence of small and medium enterprises in Abu Dhabi.
