Offering Fazaa services to Abu Dhabi Chamber members

The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry signed a memorandum of understanding with the Social Security Fund for the Employees of Ministry of Interior to provide Fazaa services to the members and employees of the Abu Dhabi Chamber.

His Excellency Mohamed Helal Al Mheiri Director General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber, signed the MoU on be half of the Chamber, whereas  Ahmed Mohammed Buharoon, Director-General of the Social Security Fund at the MoI, represented Fazaa in signing the MoU.

The Social Security Fund for the Ministry of Interior’s Employees, has had launched “Fazaa” project to provide a wide and unique range of services designed to support its members and is aimed at developing social interdependence and bonds of solidarity to the highest levels.  Fazaa benefits varies according to the card – Discount, Silver, God or Plutonium Card.

Al Mheiri praised the signing of the MoU with the Social Security Fund for the Ministry of Interior’s employees, explaining that signing the MoU emphasizes on the role of the fund in supporting the member businesses of the Abu Dhabi Chamber and its employees.

“Thanks to the great features it offers such as discounts in a large number of retail stores, people reacted positively to it. Now the Chamber’s members and employees can enjoy hundreds of discount offers across the UAE,” he said.

“This MoU is a great opportunity for the Abu Dhabi Chamber to provide its services to Fazaa employees who can benefit from the training and consultation services, especially in excellence, creativity, innovation, and corporate governance in addition to the programs of the UAE Academy and Abu Dhabi School of Management. They can also benefit from the services of Abu Dhabi Commercial Conciliation and Arbitration Centre, the Chamber’s representative offices abroad, Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council, and the Emirates Association for Franchise Development,” he added.

The Director General pointed out that the Chamber is aware to help its members and employees benefit from Fazaa services. “As for the trade and vocational sectors, all businesses desirous of participating in Fazaa Program from suppliers of services and products will be given the chance to benefit from huge discounts and privileges. Small and medium enterprises that are members of the Chamber will be included as partners in the programs. In addition, participants of Entrepreneurs Initiative and the assessors of Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award will receive their Fazaa Cards,” he stated.

For his part, Ahmed Mohammed Buharoon, Director-General of the Social Security Fund, expressed his appreciation for the signing of the MoU, noting that the memorandum will open new doors of cooperation between the Abu Dhabi Chamber and Fazaa Program.
“Fazaa Program comes to reflect of the Ministry’s keenness on instilling the concepts of giving and social solidarity and on widening the scope of beneficiaries having access to the services provided by the Fund,” he said.

According to the MoU, those who will benefit from Fazaa services are the Chamber’s members who have valid memberships in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Al Dhafra in different economic sectors including trade, industrial, vocational and creativity sectors. Wholesale, retail and banking sectors are excluded. The cards will be limited to companies only and will be given as follows: company owner: 100%, partners: 51% and 49% respectively as well as to the Chairman and director general. 

Abu Dhabi Chamber employees in all of its branches (permanent and temporary contracts) will also benefit from Fazaa services.

The list of beneficiaries also includes the winners of the Future Entrepreneur Award; Assessors and winners of Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award (The card will be given to the owner of the winning business only); and the winners of the Abu Dhabi Chamber SME Award (The card will be given to the owner of the winning business only).
