Abu Dhabi Chamber

His Excellency Mohamed Helal Al Mheiri, Director General of Abu Dhabi Chamber, discussed with Ms. Tatiana Lavrentyeva is the Head of Russia’s Novgorod Export Support Center, to discuss potential ways of implementing joint projects and expanding trade relations between Russian regions and Abu Dhabi.

This came during a visit Ms. Lavrentyeva paid to Abu Dhabi Chamber, which was attended by Mr. Abdullah Ghurair Al Qubaisi, Deputy Director General of Abu Dhabi Chamber, and Dr. Alexei Busev, Executive Director of the UAE-Russia Business Council.

During the meeting both sides discusses the available investment opportunities for SME operating in export businesses to increase their role in supporting the national economy.

H.E. Al Mheiri emphasized on the readiness of the Abu Dhabi Chamber to extend bridges of cooperation with Novgorod, describing the business environment in Abu Dhabi as a business-incubator with all the necessary tools for business growth and development.

The Director General pointed to the importance of encouraging investments, forming new partnerships, organizing events and attending related exhibitions, especially in the field of export and foreign trade.

For her part, Ms. Lavrentyeva said that the Novgorod Region enjoys unique geographical location between Moscow and Saint Petersburg and a well-developed transport infrastructure, making it a trade hub not only to major Russian megalopolises, but also to such foreign countries as Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, and Belarus, pointing to need to cement cooperation relations with businesses in Abu Dhabi.
