Members of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry thanked His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, for his precious confidence he vested to the members of the new Chamber Board, renewing their commitment to continue the journey of supporting the private sector, serving the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and its business community and strengthening its status in the regional and global economic arena.

Abdullah Mohammed Al Mazrou’i, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Chamber Board of Directors, said that the new members of the Board represent the majority of various vital sectors in the Emirate for ensuring the representation and support of companies of all sizes based in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. He stressed that the new formation aims to launch a new era in Abu Dhabi's development journey, and to work with an integrated strategy that aligns with the launch of the largest national business strategy of its kind to prepare for a leading development journey for the next 50 years in all dynamic sectors, particularly at the economic level. He also stressed the exertion of doubled concerted efforts, accelerating achievement, and raising the level of efficiency and quality of performance, thereby creating a flexible procedural and legislative environment that supports the Abu Dhabi business environment.

Abu Dhabi Chamber continues to carry out its key tasks of strengthening and consolidating Abu Dhabi's status as an attractive environment and incubator for funds and business in the region. Besides, it represents, supports, and protects the interests of Abu Dhabi-based companies. Moreover, it upgrades the business community and enhances Abu Dhabi's reputation as an ideal destination for regional and global investment.

"We are committed to harnessing all our expertise and capabilities and building on our business legacy to strengthen Abu Dhabi's position on the map of the most sought-after commercial centers by investors and the most attractive for foreign direct investments, and to establish its reputation as a key supporter of all innovative ideas and leading economic and investment experiences”, added Al Mazrou’i.

It is worth mentioning that the new Board members of the Abu Dhabi Chamber represent the majority of the various dynamic sectors in the Emirate, to ensure the representation and support Abu Dhabi-based companies of all sizes, and enabling the Abu Dhabi Chamber to realize its vision to activate the role of the private sector to have an effective impact at the local, regional and global levels, by developing and regulating business and industrial affairs, increasing the competitiveness of businesses and expanding opportunities for them, thereby contributing to sustainable development in the Emirate and promote its leading status in facilitating business practice and stimulating the growth of companies.

The economic sectors represented by the new members also exceed 15 key sectors, including financial services, health care, logistics, communications, agriculture, industry, and technology. Their areas of business include listed public companies, multinational groups, family businesses and startups.
