The Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry signed an MOU with Al Bowsalah Al Dawlia Entrepreneurship Consultancy. It aims at the development and the strengthening of cooperation ties, exchanging experiences, development of female human resources and potentials, which would contribute to enabling the Emirati woman and enhance her capabilities in the local and international labor market.

Her Excellency, Mariam Al Rumaithi, Chairperson of the Executive Board of Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council asserted that the Council is one of the most leading institutions that support Emirati woman to enable her to play her prominent role in the private sector and become a key partner in the sustainable economic development across the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. This stimulates the Council to expand its community partnerships to introduce all its services and promote all its activities, programs and events it periodically organizes. 

She further pointed out that the Council always adds a new partnership to the list of its partnerships, agreements and cooperation with various institutions and sectors to realize social integration that serves the community in general and supports Emirati woman’s economic activities and programs in particular. This is because one of the particularly distinct works of Al Bowsalah Al Dawlia Entrepreneurship Consultancy is its interest in the development of female resources, entrepreneurship and consultancy and many others, pointing out to the various common advantages that will result in such collaboration due to integrate work and strengthening relations between the two sides. 

Her Excellency said that the objectives, on which the Council’s 5-year strategy (2020-2024) is based, highlights the 2nd main objective, which aims to activate the current strategic partnerships through meetings and mutual visits to learn about the new local legislations and initiatives at the local level and the developments in entrepreneurship at the local, regional and international levels. Besides, it will also help exchange experiences and cooperation and take advantage of them in enhancing growth opportunities in labor market according to the international updates in entrepreneurship. 

She added, “We endeavor to raise the woman’s awareness on entrepreneurship as a professional track to actively participate in the economic development and increase her participation opportunities  in entrepreneurship through specialized consultancy, training and qualification. 

The honorary Chairperson of the Al Bowsalah International Center, Shaikha Salama Bint Mohammed Bin Buti Al Hamed, asserted that such agreements work to achieve the strategic objectives, expand customer base and enhance the concept of strategic cooperation to develop labor market where the Emirati woman has effected tangible fingerprints locally and internationally. 

She added that the Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council is one of the prominent entities that supports the Emirati woman’s role, which would encourage the Council to participate and contribute to the female economic development at all local and international levels. 

She also highlighted granting the Council’s members an opportunity to share their entrepreneurial and SMEs experience in the events and activities related to this area inside and outside the UAE by furnishing consultations on entrepreneurship, preparing leaders and enabling women as well as individuals and organizations to develop their skills in addition to organizing workshops and scientific symposia and conferences in entrepreneurship and SMEs. 

Her Excellency, Al Rumaithi thanked the Al Bowsalah Al Dawlia Entrepreneurship Consultancy hoping that this collaboration would contribute to serving the community as well as the enrichment of the Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council’s agenda with various programs, events and activities.
