Since its inception in 1969, the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce & Industry has been working and co-operating with the Government and partners towards streamlining and regulating business and industrial affairs in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, developing such affairs through the Chamber’s basic duties and strategic initiatives. For the Abu Dhabi Chamber is striving to establish itself as a leading policy advocate in the emirate in its capacity as the private sector’s partner and centre for its information. It is likewise the leading voice for the emirate’s business community and one which is effectively networking with concerned public and private entities. Additionally, the Abu Dhabi Chamber is helping both offer all facilities for the private sector’s companies and businesses and provide the best business environment in Abu Dhabi.

By the same token, the Chamber is playing its role as a supporter of and contributor to the economic development process and as an economic partner in making contributions to Abu Dhabi’s economic growth. This can be a reality through the Chamber’s initiatives aiming at reinforcing the business sector’s competitiveness and concentrating upon basic factors channelled into helping create favourable circumstances for the private sector so as to keep burgeoning and improving by means of making recommendations, backing up policies intended to remove obstacles standing on the way of bringing about an ideal business environment, together with providing an appropriate infrastructure, which is considered as a key element supportive of the economy.

Furthermore, the Abu Dhabi Chamber is in pursuit of furthering its position as a pioneering international organization, as well as of upgrading its processes and procedures so as to provide top-notch, highly advanced, state-of-the-art services to its members in a manner that would enable them to be instrumental in building a sustainable economic future for the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
