Abu Dhabi Chamber organizes summer training with the participation of 13 Emirati students

Within its efforts to contribute to field training for university and college students in Abu Dhabi, the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry has started a summer training program with the attendance of His Excellency Mohammed Helal Al-Muhairi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber, Mr. Abdullah Ghurair Al-Qubaisi, Depytu Director General, and a number of executive directors and officials at the Chamber.
The program aims at providing field training opportunities for Emiratis in order to be able to enrich the local job market with qualified cadres. The program also aims at informing students with the career options available to them in addition to giving them the opportunity to choose their future careers.
The training program, which is aimed at college students, will take place over a period of three weeks. The Chamber had coordinated with a number of elite universities and colleges to promote for the program. After performing many personal interviews, the Chamber chose a group of 13 college students.
His Excellency Mohammed Helal Al-Muhairi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber, said that organizing such types of training programs comes within the efforts of the Chamber to contribute to habilitating national cadres to be able to enter the job market and cope with the boost in the economic activities in the Emirate. Such programs reflect the visions of the higher leadership of the UAE in enabling UAE nationals from occupying the highest leading positions in different establishments and authorities through habilitating them theoretically and practically so that they are fully updated with the nature of the job market in the UAE.
The participating students were treated as being employees and were assigned with specific duties. They were monitored during the course of the program.
By the end of the program, the students were given the opportunity to evaluate the program and how much they benefited from it.
Al-Muhairi honored the participants while rewarding them with cash prizes as encouragement and incentives for their hard efforts.
