Ali Salem Al-Kaabi inaugurates the annual exhibition of women entrepreneurs, businesswomen and “Mubdiaa” with the participation of more than 60 businesswomen from Abu Dhabi, Kuwait and Bahrain

Under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak “Mother of the Nation”, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Honorary Chairwoman of the ADBWC, His Excellency Ali Salem Al-Kaabi, Secretary of the office of His Highness Minister of Presidential Affairs, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Family Development Foundation, inaugurated the annual exhibition of women entrepreneurs, businesswomen and “Mubdiaa” at Dusit Thani Hotel in Abu Dhabi.
Organized by the Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council, an affiliate to the Abu Dhabi Chamber, the exhibition comes within the activities of the 3rd Entrepreneurship Awareness Campaign in Abu Dhabi. H.E. Ali Al-Kaabi took a tour through the sections and stands of the exhibitions, which consists of 60 stands for women entrepreneurs and Mubdiaa from Abu Dhabi, Kuwait and Bahrain. The participating companies in the exhibition cover more than 20 trade and services activities.
His Excellency Ibrahim Al-Mahmoud, 1st Deputy Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Chairman, and Her Excellency Maryam Mohamed Al-Rumaithi, Chairwoman of the Emirates Businesswomen Council and Chairwoman of the Executive Board of the Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council, attended the opening ceremony of the exhibition.
A number of officials from public entities in Abu Dhabi and the UAE and a large number of businesswomen attended the exhibition as well.
H.E. Ali Salem Al-Kaabi expressed his utmost thanks and appreciation for Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak for her continuous support for Abu Dhabi Business Women Council and for the Emirati woman in all positions and for her follow up to the initiatives and activities of the Council’s 3rdEntrepreneurship Campaign.
Al-Kaabi added that such exhibitions help promote for the products and services of Emirati businesswomen, noting that the 3rd Entrepreneurship Awareness Campaign worked on supporting Emirati businesswomen and the graduates of higher institutions by organizing a number of programs and specialized training courses which aim at equipping businesswomen with the knowledge they need to enable them develop their businesses and informing them with the importance of their role to the community.

Al-Kaabi praised the active role of the Abu Dhabi Business Women Council in supporting the Emirati woman, especially economically and the Council’s contribution to encouraging women and habilitating them to practice diverse trade, vocational, services and industrial activities as well as increasing their role in the sustainable and comprehensive economic development process in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
“Organizing an annual exhibition for businesswomen and women entrepreneurs in the Western Region comes within the activities of the 3rd Entrepreneurship Awareness Campaign under the title: Social Responsibility in the Service of the Nation,” he said.
Al-Kaabi added: “The activities of the campaign covered the Eastern Region, Abu Dhabi and the Western region in order to help women entrepreneurs in these regions to market their products and services and develop their projects and to provide them with all everything that can guarantee the success and continuity of these projects.”
