Abu Dhabi Chamber celebrates the winners of its internal excellence award

His Excellency Mohamed Helal Al-Muhairi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, awarded the winners of the Chamber Excellence Award.
The Chamber had launched the award last year within the frame of the initiative of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and his directives to launch internal excellence awards in Abu Dhabi public entities.
The Chamber held the awarding ceremony in the Auditorium at the Chamber’s Tower on Thursday afternoon.
The winners of the award are:
• Dedicated and Long Service Category: Mr. Mohamed Bin Hasan Al-Sari
• Specialization Category: Mrs. Fatima Ateeq Al-Marar
• Specialization Category: Dr. Ayat Abubaker
• Administrative Support Category: Shamma Salem Al-Darmaki
• Technical Category: Rajaa Sibhi Jibreel
• Customer Happiness Category (non-supervising): AIi Ahmed Mohsen
• Customer Happiness Category (non-supervising): Amnah Saeed Al-Mazroui

In a speech he delivered on the occasion, His Excellency Al-Muhairi said that launching the award last year comes to meet the directions of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, to launch internal excellence awards in Abu Dhabi public entities. The award also comes amongst the strategic objectives to increase the role of the Chamber and the private sector in the emirate and to empower the partnership between the public and private sectors.
“The main objective of the award is to increase communication channels between the higher management and employees at the Chamber and giving them the opportunity to showcase their accomplishments and efforts in enhancing the business environment and services. Other objectives include motivating employees to increase their productivity and raise the level of their performance in a way that contributes to developing the services of the Chamber and satisfying its members and customers,” he said.
His Excellency Al-Muhairi expressed his utmost thanks and sincere appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, for their support for the Chamber and the private sector in Abu Dhabi.
The Director General also expressed his deepest thanks and appreciation for the Chairman and Board Members of the Chamber for their support for all employees considering their hard and excellent efforts, which contributed to realizing the objectives and projects of the Chamber over the past few years.
Al-Muhairi congratulated the winners, emphasizing the awareness of the Chamber to appreciate and award their efforts and hard work. He called on the rest of the employees to participate in the excellence award next year.
For his part, Mr. Helal Mohamed Al-Hameli, Deputy Director General of the Chamber and Chairman of the Higher Committee of the Award, said that the internal award is not a frame to choose winners or losers.
“The award aims at developing the capabilities of the employees and enhance their efficiency as well as strengthening technical and administrative work systems and achieving best outcomes for the services and products of the Chamber,” he said.
