Abu Dhabi Chamber and DED-Dubai sign MoU to exchange expertise and information

The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Department of Economic Development – Dubai signed a Memorandum of Understanding to exchange experiences and information in Dubai. Signing this MoU comes within the efforts of both sides to increase their contribution towards executing and realizing the Abu Dhabi and Dubai visions and to serving the overall economy of the UAE.
The MoU focuses on exchanging experiences and information on economic studies, international relations (investments and exports), excellence and training, and strategic planning and legislations.
His Excellency Mohamed Helal Al-Muhairi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber, signed the MoU on behalf of the Chamber; whereas His Excellency Sami Dhaen Al-Qamzi, Director General of the DED-Dubai, signed the memorandum on behalf of his organization. A number of executive directors and heads of departments from the Abu Dhabi Chamber and the DED-Dubai attended the signing ceremony.
Both sides decided to form a joint committee to follow up the mechanisms and procedures of applyiong the provisions of the MoU within a month period from the date of signing it. They also decided to meet once every three months in order to follow up the execution of the programs and activities they agreed to do, and to hold periodical evaluation and send reports on the activities and recommendations of the committee.
