A delegation from the Emirates and Abu Dhabi Business Women Councils take part in the International Women's Leadership Association

The delegation of the Emirates Business Women Council and Abu Dhabi Business Women Council (ADBWC) took part in the conference and general assembly of the International Women's Leadership Association (IWLA) in Monaco. Delegations from more than 60 countries joined the conference.
Her Excellency Farida Qambar Al-Awadhi, 1st Deputy Chairperson of the Emirates Business Women Council, headed the delegation which included Her Excellency Reed Hamad Al-Shiryani, Board Member of the Abu Dhabi Chamber and Board Member of both the Emirates Business Women Council and ADBWC; Mrs. Raghda Treem, Board Member of the Emirates Business Women Council; Mrs. Huda Al-Matroushi, Member of the Executive Board of the ADBWC; and Mrs. Shafiqa Al-Ameri, Director of the ADBWC.
Sponsored by the Prince of Monaco Albert II, the program of the conference included sessions on the role of women in attracting investments and how to develop a proper investment climate to be more attractive for businesswomen and women investors.
The participation of the Emirates Business Women Council and the ADBWC in the conference comes within their awareness to take a closer look at the best practices in habilitating and training women entrepreneurs and equipping them with the necessary skills to practice trade, industrial, services and professional activities.
The conference is one of the most significant events that bring women from around the world under one roof.
During the conference, the delegation of the two councils held discussions with a number of heads and directors from the participating countries.
