H.H. Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior awards the winners of SKEA in its 15th cycle

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and the attendance of His Highness Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry has organized the closing ceremony of the 15th cycle of Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award (SKEA) at the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi.

His Highness Sheikh Saif awarded twenty two winning companies and establishments during the ceremony.

The ceremony witnessed the attendance of a number of dignitaries, officials, heads and directors of public entities and ambassadors from sisterly and friendly countries in addition to the Board Members of the Abu Dhabi Chamber.

At the beginning of the closing ceremony of the 15th cycle of SKEA, His Excellency Saeed Abdul Jalil Al-Fahim, Chairman of the Higher Committee of SKEA, expressed his utmost thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, President of the UAE; for his kind sponsorship to SKEA since its inauguration.

Al-Fahim also expressed his utmost thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, for his continuous follow up and unlimited support to the activities of the award, and to His Highness Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, as the representative of the Award’s sponsor.

Al-Fahim said that outstanding countries are built on outstanding establishments. “Besides, corporate excellence is based upon individuals who possess knowledge, skills and conduct. accordingly, we recall the saying of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, about higher policies: We concentrate on taking special care of individuals in regard to training, educational and social aspects and the correct direction through different entities. Hence, all the capabilities of the country and its resources should be utilized to build an active human being who is the cornerstone of the entire national process.”

Al-Fahim added that in speaking of the importance of the role of the human being in realizing sustainable development, we find the approach and the means in the words of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces: “The process of building man means, in the final analysis, building the nation and instilling the values of free, promising, stable and secure life.”

The Chairman of the Higher Committee of SKEA pointed out that the UAE has become a model in corporate excellence after launching the fourth generation of excellence exceeding with it other international models. SKEA has developed its standards and technical and administrative systems to cope with the requirements of the fourth generation of excellence while developing other axes without mixing up the requirements of the public sector with the private one and retaining the features of SKEA since the development requirements differ greatly between the two sectors.

His Excellency Ibrahim Al-Mahmoud, 1st Deputy Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Chamber, expressed his utmost thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, for his kind sponsorship to the closing ceremony of the 15th cycle of SKEA, and for the attendance of His Highness Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, for the closing ceremony which was held at the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi. “This reflects the interest of our wise leadership to developing performance and the quality of services which the companies of the private sector offer and supports the role of the sector in the sustainable development process in our country,” Al-Fahim concluded.
