The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry held an honouring ceremony yesterday's afternoon to honour the representatives of companies and establishments that joined the Chamber’s economic delegation in its visit to Qatar during last January.

His Excellency Mohammed Helal Al Muhairi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber, attended the honouring ceremony along with Mr. Mohamed Al Neaimi, Executive Director of the Business and Communication Sector at the Chamber; and representatives, chairmen and directors of companies operating in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

Speaking at the outset of the event, His Excellency Saeed Rashed Al Dhaheri, Abu Dhabi Chamber's Board Member and head of the delegation to Qatar, delivered a word in which he expressed ample commendation and the deepest appreciation to all those who contributed to the success of the visit, including representatives of the companies and firms that contributed actively to the realization of the desired target. Mr. Al Dhaheri extended special thanks to the Department of Economic Development (DED), Sheikh Khalifa Industrial Zones Abu Dhabi (KIZAD), the Higher Corporation for Specialized Economic Zones (ZonesCorp), as well as to Sales Forces for their support.

"This visit represented an exceptional chance to introduce the business and economic communities in Qatar to the investment opportunities that are available across the Emirate of Abu Dhabi in a way that would help in establishing cooperation relations between the companies, businesses and businessmen in the two sisterly countries," he affirmed, stressing the Chamber's keenness and continuous support to national companies and businesses through opening up new markets for their products and services in GCC, regional and the global ones.
